Albert's Spiritual Flashes
Let me bring you back about 3 and half years ago.... When this skinny little spanish-jap-filipino guy (that's me - and yes - I got a mix - my mother is half Japanese, my father is half Spanish and I am pure proud Filipino) got out from a relationship.
He was devastated down to the fact that he had made mistakes in his life morally... so, he went to an old Church in Molo, Iloilo City prayed his hearts out hoping and praying that all his sins will be washed away. But no, God didn't give it out right... But God send someone to rescue this poor little guy through a priest named Father John of Barcelona.
Father John is like a resident priest of the church... he lives in a convent like building in the heart of Iloilo called Tuburan just by the road of Gen. Luna St.
While this poor little guy literally crying inside the church, Father John so seemingly noticed the beseeching sound of a sinner and slowly approached him with an aura of pure comfort and love.
The skinny guy in his peripheral vision noticed Father John, he was terrified seeing some 6'8” talk white guy covered with an all white garment walking slowly towards him... He was so terrified that his crying slowly stopped, replaced with cold sweats dropping down from his head, sliding through his nose then his mouth... He literally felt that it was some heavenly creature sent by God or maybe some spirit who heard him and just want to talk to him... He was dead afraid, he wanted to run but just can’t run, he wanted to shout but he just can’t shout... He wanted to do all of it in one move but he JUST CAN’T DO IT because he is inside the CHURCH and the exit is where Father John is walking right through.
So, after that unwanted paranoia, Father John introduced himself to this guy, asked respectfully why he was in the church and was eagerly listening to all the things that he was trying to say. Ending? Father John brought the skinny guy to the prayer house and had him read thru a lot of books (which I will introduce some to you)
Confession and Prayer every day, was one of the key obvious actions in our short yet meaningful meeting and partnership with Father John then he left for Barcelona, but before he left, he texted (yeah he has a cell phone) the guy if he can drop by the retreat house before he leaves. So, went the skinny guy and got a very special book given to him by Father John. It was nowhere near a Bible (of course Father John introduced the Bible back to him). Father John also knew that the skinny guy needed some kind of a modern approach. So he introduced books and e-books to me and a whole lot more. He was acting more like a brother to the skinny guy than a priest. He gave him advices about self reflection, life success secrets, betting on oneself, total self confidence, thinking positive and beyond, how to make impossible possible, and a whole lot of ideas that can change your life.
It gave him his life back.

- · from no time for himself to all the time he can spend for,
- · from boastful skinny guy to humble know-your-limits individual,
- · from 0 "unknown" yet self-renowned achiever to a whole new life and love giver
- · from a non-sense to a make sense
- · from shattered dreams to Mahatma Ghandi Style Dreamer
Then after he handed over the books to the skinny guy, he then said; when I get back, “I hope you’ll catch just the right girl for you”. This statement was just nothing to the skinny guy, it was completely blank..
Not until,(fast forward to approximately 3-5 months later)when he met his soon-to-be wife (in this stage, he actually didn’t know that she’s gonna be his wife) and heard her almost exact the same story like... Then flashes came and sprung like a magic beanstalk.
Then the story of the happy ever after begins... (There are no happy endings my friends, only HAPPY EVER AFTER over and over again)
